Are you a subscription service?
Yes, you pay for your service monthly. For example, if you sign up on the 11th of the month, your credit card will be charged on the same day of the month.
In addition, we set up your account as an automatic payment. If you choose to cancel, you must do so before the next pay period begins.
Will I be charged a copay?
No, your monthly subscription gives you access to our medical team.
Will I be charged any additional fees?
No, there are no hidden fees to speak with our doctors.
Can MedCallPro help me find a face-to-face doctor in my area?
Yes, we have doctors we can refer you to.
If I am referred to a lab, will it be one near me?
Yes, unless you select a lab, we will refer you to the nearest location.
If I am referred to a lab, will I have to pay for the lab?
Yes, although your membership covers doctor consultations, it does not cover additional costs such as lab work.
What if my parent(s) live with me?
Your parent(s) will need to purchase an Individual or the Two Seniors plan if parent(s) have reached 65 years of age or older.
However, if your parent(s) are 64 years of age or younger, than they can be absorbed into one of the family plans you select.
What if my phone does not have video capabilities?
You can speak to the doctor on the phone, or upon the doctor’s request, MedCallPro will send you a web link via text message and/or email. Once you have the web link, you can click on it to gain access (Data rates may apply).
What if I already have a primary care physician?
MedCallPro does not seek to replace your doctor. However, we know that many doctors’ offices are inundated or do not have virtual care office hours after 6:00 p.m., so we try to meet those needs.
For those doctors who choose to partner with MedCallPro, our services enhance their operations to a 24/7 model and expand their client reach to the full geographic area of the state they are licensed in.

Does MedCallPro offer a discount to veterans, active military, and first responders?
Yes, we are so thankful for these brave men and women that we give them a 10% discount.
What states does MedCallPro work?
Currently, our virtual urgent care is being marketed in California, but we are licensed in numerous states and will be expanding to those states in the near future.
Can I book a walk-in appointment with a doctor?
Our service focuses on solving your medical issue without going to an emergency room or seeing a face-to-face doctor. However, if our doctor recommends that you follow-up with a physical medical consultation, our medical team will book an appointment for you, either with your doctor, give a referral to a doctor, or give a referral to a specialist near you.
What if I do not have insurance?
MedCallPro does not require you to have insurance to speak with our doctors.
What if I already have insurance?
We are a health membership and do not require insurance. Thus, your insurance will not be used nor will you be charged a copay.
In fact, many times, your monthly membership will be less than the average health insurance copay one-time visit.
Can MedCallPro call ahead if I have to go to emergency?
Yes, if our doctor recommends that you go to emergency, our medical team will refer you to a facility located near you.
Can MedCallPro work with my health insurance?
Yes and no. MedCallPro does not require health insurance to speak to our doctors, but we do have additional medical services available to you that you may wish to utilize that will require health insurance.

What do you mean by household?
A household is made up of parent(s) and legal dependent children (Birth to 26 years of age and live in the same physical location and are not married).
Will I be asked for my credit card each time?
No, MedCallPro is a subscription membership, which will begin the day you sign up for services on our website. Your membership will also be set up as an automatic payment plan each month.
Additionally, you will have full access to an online portal for your personal MedCallPro account after you sign up. Also note that our clinical triage team does not take credit cards over the phone.
Is my phone or video conversation private?
Yes. Your security is our priority, and we are HIPAA compliant.
Can I call MedCallPro when I go on vacation?
As a MedCallPro Member, if you have a phone, you have got a doctor 24/7 – whenever, wherever. That means from any location at anytime.
Can MedCallPro doctors give prescriptions while I am out of the Country?
Yes, if our doctor’s choose to prescribe, MedCallPro will attempt to send the prescription to any pharmacy globally.
Some countries require us to use a third-party administration procedure. It is our experience that most countries do not have these requirements, however, so we will make every effort to send your prescription to the nearest pharmacy.
What happens if the doctor cannot solve my issue?
If our doctors cannot solve your issue, he or she will recommend that you go to the emergency room near you, give you a referral to a face-to-face doctor, or give you a referral to a specialist near you.
What types of conditions can you treat?
Just like an urgent care or emergency room, our medical team is focused on bringing safety and stabilization to your medical event.
MedCallPro has an 85% success rate for our members on the first call, leaving 15% who may need to call us back with additional medical information requested by the doctor or be referred out for lab work and/or a specialist. Others may be severe but not life threatening and need to visit a physical site for further observation.
Is MedCallPro a nurse advice line?
No, our medical team is focused on triage and connecting you with a doctor.

Yes. All of our doctors are licensed and can prescribe medications.
Will I have to pay for my prescription?
Yes, patients are responsible for any and all costs incurred for their prescription.
How do I get a refill on my prescription?
After the doctor has sent the prescription to the pharmacy, the patient can personally purchase and pick up the prescription.
How do I get a prescription?
The doctor will send your prescription to a pharmacy you select or one located nearest you, so you can go to the pharmacy to purchase and pick up your prescription.
Are there medications the doctor cannot or will not prescribe?
MedCallPro doctors cannot prescribe certain controlled substances such as narcotics. However, most other prescriptions are readily available.
